Welcome to Visual Arts

Hi! I'm JLKraemer, and I teach 4th and 5th grade Visual Art at Lafayette School. I grew up in West Orange, recieved my BA in general elementary education from William Paterson University and my MA in art education from Montclair University. I have had several pieces of my innovative stitcheries tour the state for a year in a show of young NJ artists.

I taught for a year and a half in Bernard's Township before coming to Chatham Township in January, 1967; first at SBS, moved to Mountainview when it opened and moved back to SBS when MV closed; AND moved to Lafayette a little over 20 years ago when it opened as a 4th and 5th grade school.

I am the mother of four sons and have two grandchildren, a girl and a boy. I enjoy doing any kind of crafts (ever since I was little), gardening and long, quiet, solitary bike rides.
